Dave Lasseter
Outreach Minister
Dave Lasseter is the Outreach Minister for the Rainbow church of Christ in Gadsden, AL. Dave has been with Rainbow since 2011. He served as the Youth Minister for over six years and began his work as the Outreach Minister in 2018.
The focus of his position is exactly what it sounds like… reaching out. Here at Rainbow, we have a history of being very involved in the community by hosting many events through-out the year. We think it is very important to have a great relationship with those around us, so we are always looking for ways to come into contact and serve those in our area. We want God’s love to be shown through our actions and we hope this can lead us
to have meaningful relationships with those we meet through these events. Dave not only oversees this work, but also planning and organizing congregational activities as well.
Dave has participated in several stateside campaigns in Alabama, Georgia and Missouri. He also served on committees for the Greater Things Campaign, the Greatest Thing Campaign and a charity event that raised money for Rainbow of Hope (A transition home for women in Gadsden).
Dave married his best friend, Jessica, in 2011 and they have two children, Benjamin and Charlotte.
